A Bit About Me
Hello! I’m Michayla White, the founder of Bespoke Travel Atelier, a company dedicated to creating exceptional, personalised itineraries for couples, families, and groups traveling in South Africa. Born and bred in South Africa, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing the vibrant diversity of my home country while also exploring the world since 2016.
Throughout my travels, both abroad and within South Africa, I’ve come to understand the power of well-curated, seamless travel experiences. I’m also fortunate to be married to an Australian, and over the years, I’ve loved showing him, his family, and friends the very best of South Africa. From the breathtaking landscapes to the incredible cuisine, I wanted to share my passion for this country in the most unforgettable way.
Before founding Bespoke Travel Atelier, I spent 9 years in the yachting industry, where I worked with some of the most discerning clients in the world. This high-end service environment taught me the importance of exceeding expectations and anticipating the needs of travelers who expect the very best. My career in yachting helped me hone the skills necessary to understand what makes a trip extraordinary—something I now bring into the travel planning industry.
In 2024, I had the incredible experience of planning my own wedding, inviting over 60 guests from various countries to join us in South Africa. Wanting to create an unforgettable experience for everyone, I designed a "friendmoon"—a celebration of both my wedding and my country—ensuring each guest experienced the essence of South Africa, from exclusive safaris to exquisite meals. It was this experience that sparked my passion for travel planning and ignited my desire to help others create their own remarkable journeys.
Bespoke Travel Atelier was born from this passion for travel, for showing people the world in the most exceptional and personalised way possible. Every trip I craft is designed with love, precision, and a keen attention to detail—ensuring that each experience is nothing short of extraordinary.
